Oh, wow, I was hoping this recording would be released, but didn't think it would be. I was actually at this night, it was an absolute blast! Cox was clearly enjoying himself, and the crowd was not bad (for Fabric). I'd guess this is only about half his set, however, as he played from about 00:30 to 04:30. I hope he releases the rest! I distinctly remember Yeke Yeke being played, as well as several other 'obvious' tunes, that I can't think of off the top of my head, none of which I see on this tracklist.

yeke yeke is on here, it's just not been ID'd on this tracklast - it's directly before the track at 1h12m that i'm looking to ID... which sounds like a hardfloor track as well, no?

Ego Acid - The Pump Panel
except carl is playing it significantly slower - sounds so much better that way.

Unlikely, unfortunately. Seems he chopped this part out for his radio show. I saw Henry Saiz in Manchester last year and he absolutely destroyed it for 3 hours. I know the whole set was recorded but there's only a 55 minute version he took to use on his hour-long radio show, and it seems the rest will never see the light of day.
I'm actually going to message the promoter now, to try and secure its release...

He always has an interesting track selection and frequents a throwback or two at one point or another is his sets.
Cox played some remix of this song in his Miami set few months ago at Ultra. Been trying to track it down since then , but to no avail. The original isnt nothing too special, but the version he played was pumping! Took the vocals at 3:24 and looped it a few times.
The original:
kosmotika
Some good acid in here...makes me feel like I should get around to making some acid mixes myself.

I had a dream a couple nights ago I cornered John Digweed in a cocktail bar and demanded he release some of the DATs from the 90s that his cat did not choose :stongue:
