i recommended one of his sets a couple of weeks ago.
cox himself comments on his staying power through the years, despite not having a 'hit record'... and that's it. carl is a dj.
the crowd feel his enthusiasm and passion. a house and techno maestro. he has put in the work, and is one of the humblest guys around.

He's been DJing for 30 years, Like Sven Vath or Danny Tenaglia, Cox isn't known for his productions. he runs Intec Records, and he'll put out a track or two every few years.
I personally didn't enjoy his long-awaited return to Stereo 4 years ago, his extended set was kinda boring to me. Rolling tech house for 8 hours, blah. I couldn't even leave cuz I spent way too much money on tickets. |
