but not something i would of ever expected avb to attach himself to ..
i like it though

It sounds so '90s because it is so '90s. Dominator was an old school hoover anthem from 1991. This sounds like a generic hardstyle remix you'd find at most festivals these days. Baffling that Armin would attach his name to something like this, but who knows, maybe he was totally down with that underground hardcore sound at the age of 15.

Original, because we all wanna' hear that instead:
Best remix, for my money:

oh interesting, well at least it seems like it has some sort of meaning behind it for me , as opposed to just throwing something out , even though big room isn't really in style/ whats popular at the moment.
he's getting crucified in the youtube comments , and getting accused of plagiarizing aoki and hard well but i like the simplicity behind this , and definitely back it up.
i would go off to it, if i heard it at the club, i don't know care what anyone says

Did a little digging on the topic, and turns out this is part of a mini-album project where Armin's making updated remixes of old anthems that he grew up enjoying. Dominator makes sense as one of the tracks he chose since Human Resource was a Dutch act, but did we really need a 66th remix of it?
Oh, and he's following this up with a moombah' sounding rub of The Ultimate Seduction. Good to see he's unearthing those long-lost gems of the rave scene.:gsmile:

nice research my guy, thats cool , some of them might be a hit or a miss, but its good to see kids getting exposed to these sounds, and discovering that it isn't some new thing that started in 2010 i guess :haha: i wasn't aware there were so many remixes to this, but imagine this one would fit more in his sets , sonically if not more than anything else.

It should be called Armin van Buuren remix or something and I don't think it fits to Armin.
So maybe remixes of House Nation, Pullover, Anasthasia can be expected.
Or, ... hmmm probably not

Gabber/hardcore was huge in the Netherlands in the early 90s; Ferry Corsten and Vincent De Moor (who also remixed Dominator in 98) started off making this kind of music, so it wouldn't surprise me if Armin had a taste for it as well, especially since he's worked on tracks with both Ferry and Vincent.
And yes, Dominator has been remixed/covered/sampled so many times. It's a very famous track from back then. :)
