Shooting Rampage at a McDonald's in popular shopping Centre in Munich.

Eight Casualties have been confirmed and a potential ninth body which could belong to one of the perpetrators. No confirmation as to the motive, but Michael Savage claims they were shouting 'Allahu Akbar' (SP*)

You say "Allahu Akbar", the Guardian says it was "an anti-foreigner slur", and all I want to say is... Where is Fleisch?! DON'T DIE ON US, JÜRGEN, YOU'RE NOT BETTER OFF ALONE!

In all fairness, gun laws are supposed to reduce the odds of there being a shooting spree, it's impossible to say it won't ever happen.

In this sense, Germany is doing quite well.

No law will help against unregistered weapons.

Germany has very stringent gun-laws, but very broad gun ownership. Shocking how that is possible!

They also have ridiculously low deaths from gun - per capita 0.07 / 100,000 compared to 3.5 / 100,000 in the US.

I'd say that their gun laws have helped out a lot, while still enabling legal ownership - shocking!
