Yes, it's a new mix for TA's ever-dwindling listener base. I consider this one a lighter and more summery successor to last year's well-received Pressure Point mix, this time confusing the genre boundaries between deep/melodic/tech/progressive/whatever else yet further.

I was getting concerned that this mix and one of mine (in the pipeline) were going to overlap too much, but thankfully while there's a bit, it doesn't include the opening track again :p

Yeah, it is a beast of a track. First time I heard it was when Laurent Garnier dropped it at around 7am at Sonar festival back in 2013.

Cheers! I'd say the inspiration behind it has been a combination of Hernan Cattaneo, Patrice Baumel, Michael Mayer and the chap called DEF Mike whose track features halfway through - he's a fantastic up and coming Austrian DJ I caught in Vienna this summer. So if you're looking for more big name DJs playing this kind of style, check those guys out. |

| As I mentioned in a different thread, I've avoided TA the past few weeks, with all the spam bots, but this has been on constant replay. Not a 'fantastic' mix, but quite an excellent one. I wish you had put it out sooner! - just a great summery mix. I was actually expecting a little more 'fluffy'-ness, but this is great. And, thankfully, doesn't use many of the tracks I've been collating for a mix of my own. That Henry Saiz remix is new to me, and quite something. Nice one, mate! |

Joe, I'm curious to hear your summery mix now - you're running out of time to get it out there.
The Henry Saiz mix is definitely a love/hate tune. I know a few people who really love it, but one friend has said, "This mix is so good, but I couldn't stand that vocal track". Will be interesting to see if anyone else has an opinion on it. |

I personally didn't like it too much, but to each their own. It wasn't that big of a detractor from the mix.
*edit: After a few more listens, I find myself grooving pretty incessantly to:

Class track this is and great catchy tune to put the listener in the mood for the rest of the mix. To me, this is the point in the mix where you're like, "Ok, time to buckle my seat belt." |
