| i need help... i've known this girl for 3 years now... we've been good friends... and she dated one of my friends for like a year and a half... they broke up and what not... and she straight told me one day, that she would be with me, except for my friend (her ex). i was like, that.... well, it's been almost a year since that, and i dont see much of her now, but i really do love this girl... i just dont want to ruin anything... because when we do hang out... its fun as hell... any suggestions for my WEAK ass? |

Kinda reminds me how I snagged my wife, except her X was not a friend of mine whatsoever (and pretty damn looney in his own sense). Life is about taking chances. You never know what might happen. You just might grab the woman of your dreams. I was fortunate enough to have this happen to me, and I regret nothing about chances being taken like that. She is my everything...
Then again, you might get kicked in the nuts. So wear a cup. |

Hey Pnuemo,
I've been in the same exact situation, and I didn't make my move. I regreted it, but now I'm over it. But I am still left wondering if I had made the move if it would have worked. I now have determined if I am in that position again, I will make the move. You can only hold back your love for so long dude, and you don't want to wait till it's too late and you are forever marked as just "a friend" (as girls tend to do with guys). Hope this helps.

Just tell her how you feel, but make it clear that even if she doesn't feel the same way you want to keep what u guys have. U talk about her like she's a really sweet girl, so I don't think you would have to worry about rejection or loss of a friend. |
