Answer is obviously no, I shouldn't go, but if I could somehow bug him during his live set (if I happen to go) to play some of his classics, what would be a standard procedure in bugging a DJ to play his own classics that made him famous during his live set?
How DO you request tracks anyway? Do you just hop over the fence and tell him what track you want him to play? What if he can't hear you? Lol |

have you tried reaching out to him on Twitter or Instagram...?
you should also relate any requests you have for him via his girlfriend on twitter and instagram. I did that a not too long ago and low and behold, Tiesto dropped The Prophet for me |

| No, I mean you don't ing go harassing the DJ to play songs you'd like. It's not a high school dance. |

Yeah, Tiesto is not a jukebox... much less a classic Trance one.

Hey we all know he misses his older trance days from 1999-2002. I dont keep up with him, but lately in a lot of his recent sets he's been trying to introduce his classic tracks to his newer generation fans. He's been trying to promote Silence, Adagio, Suburban Train, etc etc, and he even personally speaks on the mic "This is oldskool Tiesto time!" (or perhaps, maybe he just says that to butter up the crowd... who knows actually...)
But there's been on several occasion he's asked the crowd "DO YOU GUYS LIKE OLD TIESTO OR NEW ONE? WHICH ONE? OR BOTH?"
So perhaps requesting him to play some of his older tracks from a younger person will voice out that desire.
Of course this all in theory.... the chances of this being a waste of time and money is much higher odds. |

try this
ask your girlfriend or your sister or your mom for a pair of their wet panties so you can bring em to the Tiesto show.
Write on an index card what classic song you want tiesto to drop: Ariwave, Strange World, etc.
Now will he is playing, remove the panties from your pocket and slip the index card in em. Crumble up the panties wit the index card in there pretty good and when you have a chance, launch em close to the decks. I was at the show he did in Asbury Park a few years park and saw this. I asked girl what was up...and she told me she put a request in her wet panties to hear 643. And to my surprise, he played the original 643 |

Mystery's on the button here...it's extremely distracting. Let the man focus on doing his job while he's doing it.
Your best bet for any DJ is to contact them before they go on and if you can't, try to contact them on one of their profiles. A local DJ basically planned out his entire set by doing this. Many DJs actually do like some pre-show suggestions, makes our job a little easier if we know in advance what people want to hear! |
