Hey guys, long time member, still lurk the forums once in a while.

I haven't flown anywhere in a while and I remember reading a thread (It could have been longer ago than I think) that had to do with traveling for events (And well in general) and I remember people being pretty knowledgeable about getting the best deals.

I will be going round trip from Boston to LAX in a month or 2, and when I google something like "Cheap flights from BOS to LAX" "Over 9000" websites pop up, like Expedia, Kayak, etc. No idea which one(s) are the best to use, if any, and I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask on here for some guidance if anyone has time to help.

Thank you very much in advance!

ITA Flight Matrix is what I use and it searches everything. You may have to watch a Youtube video on it to figure out how to use it properly

Also you'll find the best fares on Wednesday afternoons. I like staying up to date on TravelPirates.com as well.

That's the one.

But honestly on Domestic flights just check carriers like Jetblue, Southwest and Virgin. International flights I always fly one airline Miami to Brussels direct, Jetairfly. Example my ADE flight was 339euro round trip :)

just ran into this site the other week! looks pretty cool and if you don't have an idea of where to go it helps with that.
