Lews is an uppity prick but he is also right. 'You know what I mean' is a weak fall back position.

I disagree that the definition Feminism has changed. It has always been a movement to raise up women to be equal with men. The only new twist is transgender men who are now sort of women fall under the feminist umbrella. Which is ironic when you think about it.

Of course it was blatantly obvious what Alex meant, but he was still mis-using English. I ing hate when people turn 'feminism' into some sort of dirty word, as if it has anything to do with SJWs. As I said, and you agreed, Jenny, feminism is about equality for everybody. There's no need to use the word like Alex did, it just further perpetuates stupidity.

Actually, I said EQUITY. Which is a different concept than equality. If you're gonna act like a pretentious pseuo-intellectual , get it right.

You can disagree, but you're wrong.

Yeah Lews has been kind of uppity these days, just ignore him.

Furthermore, the definition he posted is pretty simplistic/outdated. Feminism, as I understand it, has come to be defined as advocacy/seeking EQUITY for ALL marginalized groups, not just women.

What you're talking about is what lefties call "intersectionality". Identity politics are still compartmentalised, but you lose virtue points for only focusing on your little grievance. There are famous feminists who have no sympathy for trans issues. Germaine Greer is a recent prominent example.

Yes, you did say equity, not equality; and as you know they're different concepts, and you know what they mean, then you of course know that equity is simply the means to achieve equality. Hence, feminism seeking 'equity' is feminism seeking to give people what they need to achieve equality. Thus, feminism is about equality. What you said and what I said are really not that different.

But of course you couldn't see that, could you? You're too busy feeling superior and throwing unnecessary insults. I really did have to chuckle at you calling me a pretentious pseudo-intellectual (not that you could spell that correctly); you're doing what, right now, withdrawing from an exam because you weren't prepared? Nice.
Alex
Oh man, you got triggered so hard!

You're correcting spelling and insulting her! It's not like you didn't know EXACTLY what she meant despite the spelling mistake, nah, had to point it out, again!

You're just a bored clown that got owned on some other forum and came back here because you felt the people here were easy pickings.

Can't wait to not read whatever boring, drawn out BS deconstruction of this post I'm writing.

You're a compulsive internet debater dude. Believe it or not, a world exists beyond what people you've never met type online. Start with a visit to a therapist.
