Number 1# - Unidentified track PvD played on 11/01/02 @Roxy (maybe 3rd or 4th into his set) - sounded like Depeche Mode (vocals) and awesome build up with some guitar riffs. (If you know this track, please ID)

sasha - ohmna is a hell of a tune.
not one of the productions from sasha that people yell about a lot but definitely a solid work. what gets me is how old it is and still it sounds so good in today's standards. it just goes to show you what a great producer sasha is. |

There's plenty of quality trance that still sounds good today. For example, no one here mentioned Faithless - Insomnia, which in my opinion was one of the first true Trance Anthems... How many people recall Bakerloo Symphony - R.A.F by Picotto (Mauro's early work)?
I dunno about Digweed / Sasha - I could never get into that kind of music. After seeing Digweed at Area2 I realized that I didn't miss didly squat. Xpander is OK track... Haven't heard Ohmna, but will give it a listen.:tongue3 |
