hello!
are any of you coming down under for the ashes tour? or do you prefer seeing your team whitewashed from the comfort of your lounge chair? :)

If I could afford it, I'd be there, it's gonna be an amazing tour. On the news here Goughie's was always gonna miss the first test til last week, when they said he's got a 70% chance of playing, but I think he needs to be rested for the first test.
Don't do a Shane "i'm a fat " Warne and say your gonna do us 5-0 tho, we've got the best team in a long long while, admittedly no bowlers up to Mcgrath or Warnes standards, and no batsmen that can twat a ball harder than Gilchrist, but it's going to be really close this year, really close :) |

I really wanted to go down to my family in Adelaide for the test in late november, but due to lots of commitments I couldn't which is a shame, but I know i will watch an ashes tour in aus at least once in my life, I know a lot of ppl here dont rate cricket but my dads a first-class level umpire so I've grown up with it and love playing
This year I want us to compete with the aussies, I don't think we'll win more than 1 or 2 at most, but I expect trescothick & vaughan to do well and hopefully freddie flintoff to score some runs too, we'll miss thorpe not being there and I'd have taken Ian Bell from Warks, but we'll see in the end, hope its competitive & in good spirits |

I saw highlights of the series vs Pakistan and he looked to have shed at least 2 stone and looked really physically fit, which in that heat he needed, but I fear for our middle order if he's on form, since our second best player of spin isn't gonna be there, it's upto Vaughan to get a good start, and maybe get past the 190s hehe
Maybe the 'barmy army' need to take warney out for a lot of beers again like when he was in england, so he's unable to bowl properly, he's definitely the most talented leg spinner I've ever seen |

| hehe well as long as he keeps taking wickets im happy. and spin bowling isnt exactly the most strenous form of physical exercise so even he should still have a few years left. |
