| It's one of those albums I'd expect any serious fan of electronic music to have heard at least some of. I wouldn't say it was ahead of its time though, but very much of its time. It was one of the centre-pieces of the early '90s ambient boom, and there are quite a few other lovely records from the same period in a similar style. |

I could be wrong but I believe System J suggested this for me a loooooong time ago. I picked it up and it still has been one of the best electronic music purchases I have ever made. I was actually just cleaning the basement the other day, came across a pile of old CDs, and this was in there, so I backed it up. Definitely don't want to be losing this one.
Mark Anthony and I were at a rooftop party in NYC a handful of years ago to see Ripperton and Mike Huckaby and Ripperton opened with his remix of track 8 on 76:14. Needless to say, it was ing incredible. |
