I want to get this bugger because what it can do but not what it looks like its aimed for.

Will i need drum sticks to trigger the pads or can i do it with my hands like maschine?
What I do like about it, is that its like an electribe sampler but all digital audio and midi pathway, no noisy cable clutter.
There is a AU Vst editor from roland out already. basically its like midi out from your daw into the SPD SX USB audio out from the SX back into the daw, live drumming or sort of.
Not to take arms but its a worlds first. Like an aira_tr but with your own samples.
