| The only place I've seen it is an awful chain of pubs/clubs called 'Walkabout' that I'd need to be well-paid to re-enter. It's odd, actually, I live right next to one of the best food markets in the world, but I've never seen it sold there or anywhere else. I'm slightly hesitant after my bad ostrich experience, but I'm (almost) always ready to give something new a try. |

I worked at a Walkabout for a while when I lived in the UK :stongue: It was actually heaps of fun, but yes, they were pretty .
Definitely try roo meat though. It's pretty similar to beef, but super lean. If you end up making it yourself, make sure it's cooked rare, or it dries out and gets tough. |

Haha, it's not worse than my first username. It was a reference to As If. My favourite character was Sooz, and you know my name, so, yeah, Maaz!

There are actually a few in Australia (and their site tells me there's now one here in Brisbane). But no, I've never been. |

Oh, I was under the impression they weren't so bold as to pretend they're Aussies in Australia, heh.
I wrote a good chunk of my doctoral thesis in an Outback Steakhouse. I guess the place is so horrid not even my writer's block wants to be there :D |
