Agreed. People are still making a ton of money. They just make it in different ways (or more money in fewer ways such as live events, memberships for studio live streaming, remixing fees, publishing, YouTube monetization, etc) and it evens out. I don't know why more people haven't figured out that song sales/album are over and move on, and not even include it in their business model. It would be like if retail stores were still complaining that they weren't selling telephones or desktop computers or something. Markets change. If people couldn't make a living doing music, that would be one thing, but that isn't the case. |

| And I will add if you don't want to do live gigs but are really talented, then be a ghost producer. I haven't seen the numbers but would say that market has grown in a major way in the past 5 years because tens of thousands of everyday people can and will pay $250-500 for a track. |
