| I believe this would only work for genres you couldn't possibly want to dance to, like ambient, chill out, and prog. |

| I often sit when mixing at home but otherwise I like to stand because I'll usually do a little bounce that helps me keep rhythm. I don't do any of that silly jump up and down jesus pose though.:D |

| One of the best DJ sets I ever witnessed was performed by a guy who was sat in a deckchair throughout. It was at an illegal outdoor party at a farmhouse. He was sat in the front garden of the house, which functioned as the chillout area, with his gear on a table in front of him, a stream of spliffs passed to him by successive onlookers sat next to him, and a remarkable melange of downtempo, ambient, psy-chill, weird pop music and everything else you can name coming out of the soundsystem. He played for 14 hours that I was aware of, and was still going in the baking hot sun at about 2pm when we finally left. |

My post was meant to be an unfunny jab at prog, I didn't expect to be right :p |
