bad trance can be cheesy;
bad prog are boring;
but at the end of the day, a well-produced trance tune kicks every progressive tune one can imagine. and prog is music for your body, while trance is like spiritual food. |

First off I dont think that u have to choose....thats kinda immature. There are so many genres that wen I was a kid I didnt listen to cause u didnt" do" that if u were nto smth else. Ex."f u were a metalead in 80's u didnt listen to Rap. Y the fuk not...Its just stupid. But for arg sake...I think prog has edge on trance just for simple reason that it's and eveloutionary/refinement like process. So in beg u had trance and musicians that loved both house n trance n other influences combined that all together and here u have
prog And in life mixed is always better. Just like w/people....just look at Brits(no offence ot my fellow londoners) but since their blodlines r not as mixed s americns they're not nearly as attractive as say Brazilians...who have a lot of interbreeding....;) :haha: |

thats' prob cause u listen to dull prog...try some Danny Howwels or Satoshi...u cant tell me that's dull:rolleyes: Im not even gonna go into the underground sutff. U have plenty of dull trance as well...u have to evolve n change...if music stays the same...and musicians try to stik to some sort of formula as u have in a lot of trance nowadays...it eventually sgonna die out..smae way all other genres did....on other hand genres that aceepted change flourished:happy2: |
