Am I the only one pumped up for Nathans new album? :) The tracks released right now are interesting. I dont dislike any of them. Seems that Fake has taken a different direction but still maintains a certain kind of sound I particularly enjoy.
Nathan Fake- RVK. Vocals? Really? Nathan hasnt had vocals in his songs that I recall so this is different in itself.
Nathan Fake - Degreelessness. I really like this song all together from start to finish. I personally want more stuff like this.
Nathan Fake - Now We Know. Love the feeling this one gives me. Chill and ambient. Now We Know sounds sort of like a blend of his older stuff with his new idea hes got going.
Nathan Fake - HoursDaysMonthsSeasons. Another one that builds up into a literal symphony of sound. Not bad at all.

I mean, I would have at least been curious had I known he was releasing one. Nothing against Fake or any of the other old Border Community alum, but I don't think many people outside of dedicated followers of him or his leftfield scene really know what he's up to these days.

I have to agree. I often find myself wondering why it is I enjoy this niche style electronica as much as I do. Either way.. What were your thoughts on these tracks? Album comes out tomorrow. Probably going to get it.

Didnt expect the trance and a good chunk of it feels very pure and playful which I dig. I'd rather hear this in live context with some raw-reworking and emotional melding, sadly thats not going to happen. Anyway, ordering the CD and ill listen a few more times when it comes as I'll have a new system in place by then to listen more critically, there are definitely a few tracks I have no interest in.

I just bought the album. I actually enjoy this new direction that Fake is going. I know it isnt the most popular style of electronica by a long shot but it still has an audience like me that enjoys it. Providence and Remain are great tracks that arent online right now. Worth the buy if you ever liked Nathan Fake IMO.
