Uh, pretty sure you called the music 'amazing' in the original post? :conf:
Mr Game+Watch
Rubez, you and I tend to agree more often than not on music but this is... ehhh. It's like a nu-disco track but with much more plodding. I'm a proponent of 'separating the art from the artist' but the tune is not compelling enough that I'd suck it up and support it.

I never liked his music. Gotham was Patient Zero in the outbreak of that rubbery synth horn sound that now plagues "emotional" tech house. And, of course, the guy is a despicable cunt. When his champion is the ever-lovable rubez, I can understand the group-hate.

But with all that said, the tune in the OP really isn't bad. And the production is very good. Lots of little sonic details in there. If it was some unknown cosmic disco producer and it cropped up in a set by someone like Prins Thomas, most of you would be bumping your heads to it.

Not that bad ≠ amazing. :o

Of course. But it's nowhere near as bad as reading this thread would have you believe, and I have absolutely no dog in this race. This is just another collective TA lynching, because the target is Ten Walls meeting rubez in unholy matrimony.

Hard to think of a more deserving target!

I don't know how to respond in proper sentences but there is not a song of his that I can say I enjoy

ten walls literally has his own sound, when you hear his tracks you know its his

i don't think some of you can comprehend how difficult that is to do into todays music climate and really just in society as a whole how hard it is to stand out in anything that it is you do..

obviously he lost some points because of his political views

but this politically correct world we live in

people have to be who they are and not what people tell me to be.

I meant to clarify that the teaser doesn't actually suck, but rubez drew his own conclusions and I thought that was much funnier.
