Question about getting synth to computer

| Alright. I have a Yamaha synth. I want to figure out how to get a way to connect the synth to the computer and get the sound from the synth recorded onto it. Anybody know how to do this? I know how to get midi cables and stuff connected to the computer so I could use the keyboard as a sort of remote, but I want the actual preset sound from the synth to be recorded into the computer. Thanks! |

| Usually, keyboard synths come with 2 1/4 inch unbalanced output plugs. You can go get a 1/4 inch converter to a minidb plug that most soundcards have, unless you're soundcard has rca jacks (you can also get 1/4inch to rca adapters). |
