New York born, Boston bred, Orlando based John Debo is undoubtedly a pioneer of underground dance music culture in the US. DJ, producer, artist, engineer, promoter, label boss and educator; Debo has worn many hats throughout his career. His club nights at Venus De Milo, Axis & Avalon in Boston are of legend, laying a strong foundation for the now flourishing electronic music scene in the New England area.
Whether behind the decks, in the studio or sharing his experience & experiences with like-minded creative souls as an instructor at the prestigious Full Sail University, the music is always at the forefront. Resisting complacency, 2013 saw the launch of his intimate, by the DJ for the DJ, boutique venue concept, Sound Bar Orlando. Here, Debo played host to some of the most forward thinking, underground artists from near and far. With releases on Fade, Selador, Sound Avenue, Bedrock, Stripped, We Are Here Music and his own Mindwarp imprint, Debo shows no signs of slowing the pace anytime soon.
