LOL, agreed. We humans are such funny little creatures. We'll anthropomorphize anything. It's like you can almost see/hear the people thinking, "I know my truck/camper is taller than 11'8", but maybe, just maybe, if I proceed slowly and respectfully, this bridge will really be taller and let me pass unscathed!" Right o...that bridge can't and doesn't give 2 s if you approach slowly or not. :haha:

Fact: I was a passenger in a lorry that got stuck under a bridge. I was a 6-year-old kid who had just gotten rid of the seatbelt.

Yeah, but people don't read signs, lol. There's a low rail bridge near where I live, and there are 4 or 5 signs leading up to it as well as a ING FLASHING YELLOW LIGHT ON THE BRIDGE ITSELF, and yet when you get close to the bridge, you can see tons of marks where trucks have smashed into it.
The final sign is on the actual bridge: "Please report all bridge collisions to Queensland Rail" with the telephone number, like they just know it's going to happen anyway :stongue:
