Ziptnf - Atomic Structures [psytrance]

Made a new mix for the annual Kentucky Derby Festival Mini-Marathon (and full Marathon but only someone like my brother is crazy enough to do 26.2 miles :wtf: ). The race was delayed 1.5 hours due to storms in the area, and I wound up taking the race out too fast in the first 7 miles and struggled between walking/running for the last 6. Seems to be a trend in my races these days. I need to learn how to control my pace so I don't burn out like that. Perhaps my depleted energy stores was also a side-effect of the delayed start time.

Anyway, the mix was better than my race. Big time trance melodies and high-energy psychedelic attack sequences, all flowing together for a powerful 100 minutes of quality electronic dance music. Pretty happy with this one.

Altered State - Hypnotic [Yellow Sunshine Explosion]
Zyce & Shake - Gravity [TesseracTstudio]
Ascent & Norma Project - Shining Crystals [Geomagnetic]
Ecosphere & Electit - Society [Parabola]
Flowjob - Alice In Orbit (Magnus Remix) [Iboga]
Inner Sphere - Night Shade [Iono]
System E - A New World [Digital Nature]
Ilai & Sonic Entity - Dmt Perception [Iono]
Vertical Mode - Lucky Number (Symbolic Remix) [TechSafari]
Christopher Lawrence & No Comment - Horizon [Critical Overload]
Magnus - Sonder [Critical Overload]
Moon Tripper - Let's Find A Point [JOOF Mantra]
Spectro Senses - Fundamental Experience [Bounce]
Bowdidge & Taylor - Sidewinder (Harmonic Rush Extended Mix) [Monster Force]
Makida - Human Evolution [24/7]
Makida & Eeon - Cosmic Expansion [24/7]
Moon Tripper - Selenophile [Yellow Sunshine Explosion]
Reverse - Ultima (Magnus Remix) [Critical Overload]

Downloaded! Giving this a go now. Sorry you didn't perform like you felt you should have. But damn, man, how many people even tried, today, what you tried? We're getting some of those pop up storms in Mid TN, too. Late tomorrow is supposed to potentially be interesting. The Midwest is getting hammered if radar is any indication.

There were over 16,000 runners at the event! Quite an impressive turnout, despite the storms.

You're in Mid TN? No ! My in-laws are from Murfreesboro. We visit a couple times a year. Stay inside when those storms come through! And enjoy the mix :)

I went to college at MTSU. I graduated from the college of business there before it was given a name (now the Jennings A. Jones College of Bidness). Lived in the 'Boro for 3 years, half a block off campus, roommated with my first cousin. Good times. I was a much younger man, then. This set is wicked, btw. I'm about a third in.

Dude that's awesome. MTSU is my wife's alma mater, she graduated in '11 with a bachelors in psychology. The city has grown a lot over the past few years, really looks like they are trying to adapt to Nashville's population boom.

Glad to hear you like the mix so far! Let me know your thoughts when it's finished :disbelief

Yeah, I work in IT for a community bank, and the TN Bankers Association puts on an annual 2 day conference out at the Embassy Suites. When I was in college, they just opened Thompson Ln. That was literally all cattle pasture when I was there. Now it's a small city, complete with a new hospital complex and any type of retail shop you can imagine. And that all popped up during "The Great Recession". That part of town did not participate in the recession, lol.

Bumping this - figured I could get at least some feedback. TA is super dead these days :(

Might have to fire up a challenge mix this summer or something.

I listened yesterday. I don't listen to much psy these days so I cant really offer any constructive feedback, but I did enjoy it, some nice tracks in there.

This was a great mix. I'm a big fan of the type ofprogpsy from the Iboga, Digital Structures and Iono so this was definetly up my alley. Good flow, great track selection and a brilliant strating track. Cheeeeeeers!
