Lately I have been listening to a lot of techno, and all I can say is that to me techno is the true heart of electronica. Iis the only genre that encompasses a bit of each; vocals, some synths, lots of bass, progressive sounds.....
To me techno is the only genre that gets me really pumped. It has so much energy beneath its repetive phrases that just makes me go wild. Watching Picotto @ Sensation Black is insane! Look at the energy he gives the crowd, its unbeleivable!
Thats just what I am feeling musicly at the moment, does anyone else agree with me? ...Or not agree? :D |

for me techno gets very repetetive..there is no emetions in alot of tracks..nothing beats trance.... |

is good
but trance
is better
it just depends on the mood.. When I want some hard sounds I listen to techno.. rather than hard trance |

this is a case each to his own.
i like techno now and then, i know people who adore it, and peopel who loathe it.
at the end of the day msot electronica contains all the elements in soem way, i could say that about house or prog. it all depends how the music affects the individual. ;)
usually if im bored and want some nice banging music to cane my ears i listen to techno coz sumtimes the beats and twisting bassline r what i need. sumtimes not! |

As I always say: "Trance is love, jungle is the foreplay and techno is the wildest sex ever"
Trance: you can listen to it for a very long time, and you won't get bored of it. It's like love - lasts longer and it's good.
Jungle: it gives you more and more energy, and you feel like exploding, but you feel like there's something else you need to get crazy.
Techno: it's pure energy that takes you out of your mind. However, when you listen to it for too long, you get too exhausted to go on :D |
