I love these people. Also please do notice, no litter on the floor, no one smoking (that I noticed of),no fat s carrying a happy meal with extra fries, almost all cheery in front of the camera. These are sharp people doing away with our western bull, and they look gorgeous.

You didn't notice that? Tobacco consumption in Japan is way higher than in both our countries. I don't know if you need to speak the language to "catch" these things, but the smokers' area in restaurants are quite foggy and smelly precisely because there's quite a sizeable share of walking chimneys :conf:

This is true though. Japan and Korea are the slimmest countries in the OECD, according to the organisation:
I'm often told it's because of their strict diet in school, where you aren't allowed to buy "extra" lunch. I haven't got any numbers to back this claim, and it may well be just a myth.

Senior High Schools are rammed with drink and bread vending machines. But most kids tend to eat healthy lunch boxes (rice, fish, miso etc).)

I stand corrected then. My wife said something about "no 'extra' lunch", but she worked with young foreign children, so maybe the rules were different or something...

Second hand knowledge is a bitch Lira :p
It is a bit, yeah :toothless
Well, to be fair, first hand knowledge can be deceiving just as much as second hand knowledge because you may well have experienced the exception rather than about the rule... I guess second hand knowledge just makes you a bit more humble about it :D

Hearsay is inadmissible in court.

Or so I heard, but I'm not one to judge.

I love Japanese people.
The hatred for them here transcends anything you can imagine.
