Ok, so i've read a couple of posts about this form of drum and bass that uses trance riffs. This is not actually called trance n' bass, but liquid dnb or liquid funk. However, it keeps getting trancier all the time. Here's a sample of a new unreleased song by John B (the DJ that mixed the trance n' bass mixmag cd). Sample here:

Yeah this is a new thing for dnb that has been going on for over a year or so.

If anyone has the Mixmag Trance n' Bass cd mixed by John B they should share it in the hub. It's almost impossible to get right now!

Not good in my opinion. Another regurgitation of europop with different synths.

Sorry, just my opinion! :p

Europop??? LOL. This is John B, a living dnb legend and one of the best producers around. This is high quality , far above any europop bull!

Another trance n' bass song that's awesome and less "cheesy" is Concord Dawn-Take me away. Oh, and Concord Dawn-Morning Light. I'm sharing these on the hub right now.

Wow this CD is DA ! The superstar trancers should find a way to incorporate this kind of stuff into their sets. More fun than breaks imo.

is this john b the same guy as "johnny b"? As in the guy who did a wicked mix of Kernkraft 400 (even tho i hate that song...his mix is off the hook), and the guy who introduced "concrete style mixing"? Cuz if it is...i may know him....
