Wuddup guys!
I'm keeping this forum alive. And since I don't have FB or IG anymore, you're my only communication to the outside world.
Wanted to start a thread about all things related to movies.
Saw this one over the weekend and it's called "Gifted". It stars Captain America as this broke ass dude who has to take care of his niece after her mother committed suicide. The thing about it, is that this girl is... wait for it... GIFTED. Now he can easily put her in to some smart ass fancy schools with her talent but he chooses to enroll her in a public school. You see, the reasons, her mother committed suicide was because she was gifted as well. Unfortunatley, she didn't enjoy the little things in life which eventually led to her depression and ultimately suicide. So Captain America's goal is to make sure his niece learns to enjoy life instead of following down the same path that her mother did. Great movie! On the TA scale of 1 - 10 (10 being the best), I'd give this movie a 7.5 TA's. |

I watched this last night with my wife. It's an indie title, about a man who has lived for over 10,000 years, and he's in a room explaining it to a bunch of professors and they ask him questions. Some of the dialogue is crap, but it's really entertaining. Part of the ending is really ing dumb, but I'd give it an 8/10.
As a side note, we also watched Logan last week and I thought it was pretty meh overall... lots of aggravating plot lines and missed opportunities. |
