So the biggest reason is size, but what good is do download fastly a sample that wont be used at all cuz it dont hav quality to be on a song, its just for playing-training, what i didnt though was the main goal of the ftp...
The least that could be done is to make 320kbps ones so it retains most of its quality and a quick noise removal would clean it good, but there r only 128 to 160 kbps ones there... :(
I hav a 56k modem, and only use wav. It takes longer, but it does the job. Less samples, but perfect-usable ones ;) |

I totally agree with nickless...if your'e going to use samples in mp3format at least convert them to 320 so the quality loss isn't to big....anything below 192 tends to distort and crackle a little when you work with it

Man, its been a REAL pain to upload in the FTP. Whenever im uploading a file, it crashes in the middle of the transfer, and if i try to resume it, it crashes even more, lol. I aways hav to do many tries to upload each file, and keep praying it wont crash forcing me to restart it from the begining (what is a pain for a phone line user like me) :conf:
Do u know something that must be wrong here? Like a net configuration or something that would help me? :( |

Yeah I tried the IP at the beginning but its not working... Anything else I need to know to hook up to the FTP?
Also - I downloaded like the ENTIRE modarchive.com website - should I post some of those samples?
