hey guys. i'd figure i'd ask you guys about this one.
so it turns out i don't have the money to get my technic yet :( but i still do need atleast one deck.
whats the CHEAPEST GOOD turntable i can get between 100-200 bucks. mainly for now all i need it for is just listening to my vinyls. there is a chance i may get a second and a mixer, but i can't spend too much money. so for now i'm looking at just getting one.
hopefully by summer i'll have the money for some god damn technics!!! :D
i know there is nothing quite like a technic, but still what are your suggestions? |

| Try to see if you can get Numark TT-100's. From personal experience, these are very solid and very reliable decks, and very cheap too. Direct drive, and decent torque too (but no Technics, duh). |

if u buy something cheap you gonna loose too much money if you wanna sell it buut if u get a sl-1200 you can sell it for a good price ! (get a used one .. its build like a tank ! :) |

If you can be patient and wait for the cash flow for Technics, then do it...
but if you really need a TT now i suggest the Numark TT-200 which is just over US$200 at $220... If you can't spend that much you can get the new Gemini PT-2100's from eBay at $200 and they are around the same speed as the TT-200's, thats what impressed me when i tested them!
But if you definately want to dspend under $200 there are a few options of the Gemini XL-500II, Gemini SA-600, Numark TT-100... And out of them the TT-100 s on the other two.. the Gemini's are ok, but compared to the TT-100 they are nothing.. such i guess its up to you now:D |

get cheap Stantons!
Numark and Gemini are famous for being good out of the package , but after some time they turn to ubber crap ( the cheap stuff that is ). |

| If you are just going to be listening to vinyl on it, then don't get a DJ turntable. That way you can get a nice TT for about $100 or slightly less. |
