Take 60mg of Adderall and push it! Report back in 24 more hours.

Oh, and it's ing cold in this country now. Can't remember the last time September was so grim. It's like summer ended overnight on the last day of August.

I wish I could relate to that. I just want some rain... It's probably been 4 months since I last saw water falling from any sort of cloud :(

Try again, using the axe with your non-dominant hand this time.

It really did, didn't it? It's not like we had a very warm summer to begin with, but the temperature suddenly dropped by around 10 degrees.

Been beautiful and very warm here. September is easily my favourite month of the year. :)

I miss the cold. We've had one of the hottest summers in California in a long time. Mid-June and July we had around 40 straight days of 90+ degree temperatures. And then we got hit again around Mid-August with about 2 and a half weeks of nothing but 100 degree heat, and that heat wave wasn't just localized to Sac, the whole Bay Area suffered as well. Even San Francisco had a couple days of 100 degree heat, and that's unusual.

This past week has been pleasant though, just mid 80's and a few low 90's. But I would say that most Norcaler's are ready for Fall to start.

I enjoy September, as it means 1.) August is finally ing over and 2.) it's followed by October. We generally start to get our first cooler, less humid weather in September. By late September, we're getting our first really cool nights...cool enough for a small "flash fire" in the wood stove just to knock the chill out of the house. This September is different, however. We started Sept. with very unseasonably cool weather - the first week was more like the last should have been. Then Harvery and Irma's remnants kept it cool/overcast/rainy. Now that they've moved on, we're back into the mid to upper 80s (F)! In any event, Sept. also means I'm just a month or so away from vacation, and it also affords some generally favorable cabin/camping weather. So yeah...bring it September!

Usually I would 100% agree, but we've had some heavy rainfall and unusually cold temperatures so far. It's only in the last few days that we've had any of that mellow September sunshine, and even then it was really cold last night.

We had that heat wave for a couple weeks in June and then July and August were just pure rain, from my point of view. I'm not a big fan of high temperatures (give me snow-drenched mountains over beaches any day), but it has felt like Summer was one month and Autumn will be in full effect for half the year :(
