DJ Tiesto In Search Of Sunrise 3 & Armin Van Buuren

Howdy,
I was hoping to get some opinions of some good cd's I can look into.
I've got all the GU stuff like most people here and a lot of the recent Prog and House stuff that is out there but I have to admit my one true love is Trance.
Picked up In Search Of Sunrise 3 a month ago for the first time and I've got to admit it might be the first CD I might actually wear out (if thats possible) I like it so much.
Searching on Amazon and reading some of the reviews of some other cds Armin Van Buuren's name comes up and reading the reviews of his new 004 Transparance cd....it sounds pretty good.
The only problem is they dont have any music clips you can listen to so I have no idea how this cd sounds until I plunk down my $30.
Big chunk of change for a cd I might not like.
Soooo what I was hoping to get is possible some ideas and opinions of what else is out there (Trance) that at all sounds like In Search Of Sunrise 3 or if Armin's cd is worth picking up.
Your help/opionions are greatly appreciated.

You'll probably like Transparence 004 too, but if you liked ISOS3 so much then get the other two. In Search of Sunrise 1 is a classic and ISOS 2 is darker but still wonderful. In fact, you should get anything by Tiesto except In My Memory or Summerbreeze maybe.
I'm happy to see someone who knows about prog and listens to GU kind of stuff appreciate the work of Tijs :) |

| Most everyone here, including me, would recommend Armin van Buuren - Boundaries of imagination. Its from around 1999, but if you like ISOS 3, then you will probably like this too. I havent got any of the other AvB cd's, except his newest one Universal Religion Chapter 1, which is pretty decent, but not his best mixing and track selection imo. |

but summer breeze is the isos alternative for the americans. It was solely desgined for US release only to fit the average musical tastes of american dance lovers. |

yeah it's not that bad... but the ISOS mixes are better, imho.

Why not 'In My Memory'...one of the best albums in Trance? You are one of the biggest Tiesto fans I know and you don't recommend his only artist album?? |

Until now I can not find a CD that is better than this one. It is a piece of art basically. I think it is Armin's best work ever.:toocool: |
