Producers styles change over time, I mean, look at what Oakie used to do, and compare it to 'Starry Eyed Shyte' :p
Lots of producers tend to stick to a specific sound (Dumonde, Flutlicht, Barthezz, Scot P) and some do it better than others (Heaven's Cry's new one is PANTS IMO, too similar to TTDUP), but I like what Scottie boys up to at the mo. :) |

Yea I agree here, I used to love scot projects work until I got bored :(
By the way... his remix of Arome - Hands Up! was originally harder, faster (i have the sample) but he changed it the stupid dick! He slowed it down and made it so so so boring.
From then I just havnt listened to any of his stuff cos I know it will be the same.. :rolleyes: |

one that made me the tranceaddict i am today
but lately let's say in the past six months i got bored from his music it came to a point that i gave up on dl some of his sets they are to similer in some sets i knew the entire tracklist before i heard it ,to think 2 years ago i would kill to get 1 of his sets.

Since Jamies gone to a lot of trouble i'll help explain for the smaller minded ppl...
the style he used to produce was good, not so many uplifting melodies etc but now there are and imo i love them but a lot of the sets he's played lately are all identical, I do think hardtrance in general has a lack of creativity at the moment, people need to be innovate like scot himself WAS 3 years ago and we'll all be happier
as for the guy who mentioned prog-head, u obv dont know jay one bit, he s on progressive ;) |
