Flo, I've been trying to get Arturo to come up for it. I doubt he will but blah. Have you heard from Bobby lately? I want him to bring up his tables Friday night. All my friends from out of town had planned to come in for a party on Sat night so I want to do Friday night. If we could get some tables up it would be a nice party. I'm not trying to do one of those before & after parties again, that didn't turn out well. But a night before will be definate. And no leaving downtown this time. :D Anyway, anyone coming up for this can drop by my place, it's walking distance to the clubs. Give me a call at my house 352-384-0385. I'm not usually there but once I find my cell phone I'll put the number up. Hope to see alot of you there!

Yeah, Steve Chadwick s things up for all the clubs in Gainesville, especially Vibe & Simons cus he refuses to bring anything but House and DnB. Nu-Breed is definatly nice though, as far as breaks go. Not lookin' for Bobby though, lol.:rolleyes:
Damn, Flo, Jayson is coming down tonight from Tally and going back Sunday morning. If you could do that I could try to hook you 2 up before he leaves. He'd give you a ride, but he's coming tonight, not tomorrow. Can't help ya with rides for just Sat. night, but let me know if you coming.

Don't be disappointed. I get all hyped and for Nu-Breed, get some glow sticks, smoke enough to kill a small horse, and headed down there. I get my wristband, pay my 5 and go in. I walk in to Big Tymer's blasting. my expression--> :wtf:
So I ask the bouncer about it and he says another DJ goes on at 11. Well, I found the owner and asked. They ing cancelled Nu-Breed only a couple of days ago because they "didn't think they would have a large enough turnover"
God I hate Gainesville.
I ended up going to Simon's where there was a half ass Trance/Break/Whatever DJ and a crown of about 30. it. I got wasted and danced.

Then you havn't been here much lately, lol.
Simon won't with Edgar, cus he knows that if he does the club is ed. I expect Edgar to be pulled of pretty much perfectly. It has to be. Simon's has ed so many people lately with guestlists and . Promoters "forgetting" to tu lists and changing DJ's last minute with no notice and like that. Simon has been informed that this is basically his last chance, so he'll make it work. Especially since Oscar G is playing the night before at Vibe. If Edgar s up, Vibe will be the new electronic club.
I'll try to get some of us on the guestlist. I'll let you all know. |
