was it needed? definately not. why would go you and try to remake one of the best trance anthems in history, knowing that people will want it to be bigger and better. to me, it doesnt even sound like a remake. if he was going to do anything he shouldve stuck it under a different name, hey i never wouldve known a lot of tunes sound alike these days, especially done by the same producer. by labeling it as a 2002 re-release, it is just opening itself up for criticism and comparision to the original. i think its good, but how can you beat the original. this remake is just aged to mikes new sound with more layers.

same deal with out of the blue 2002 and megamind - taub 2002. they're all uninspired remakes prolly made just for the $$$.

yeah I agree! I've had enough of those 2002-remixes. The remixes of Energy 52 - Cafe del Mar were good, but all other 2002-remixes I've heard sucked.

Haven't heard the remix of push yet, is it worth downloading in (on my 56k:rolleyes:)?

the thing with the 2002 remixes of energy 52 is they came out in succesion and were improvements of one another. the three in one rmx then the marco v rmx then the fleming..all better than the one before it. and they all sound inspired.

here is the answer:

i just think universal nation 2002 is much better than the original
this version has much power than the original, nicer bassline than the original and a more darker sound

about cafe del mar
nothing will ever beat the three n one remix, the emotions in the break, the marco v remix is the worst remix of cafe del mar, it adds totaly nothing to the remix, the beat doesnt belong in this song, the melody sound is too rough
the j00f remix has too much disturbing sounds, the break is too much of a copy of the three n one remix

just stop quoting the songs on the producers names, stop listening to the names, start listening to the music

I don't think Dirk Dierickx has got to do it for the €'s

the new version is a joke...i deleted it after listening to it once. Starts off like a normal trance song, ends like one...flows like one. The original was so much more hypnotic and atmospheric.

a good example of a 2002 remake = Airwave - Above The Sky 2002

tracks like this just shudny be touched :(

Technaut
There was no need to remix this tune.

Haven't heard it yet, but I still think that:

Out of the Blue 2002 > Out of the Blue Original

it just has a little more power. If Universal Nation 2002 is like Universal Nation original but with more power, I'll like it more as well.
