The 2002 Leonid meteor shower promises a remarkable show in the early morning hours of Nov. 19, and SPACE.com has obtained the latest forecasts and city-by-city charts predicting activity around the world.
Though a nearly full Moon will outshine fainter meteors, skywatchers should not be discouraged, experts say. A storm of shooting stars, along with possible bright fireballs, is in store during a display that won’t be repeated for at least three decades.

Cool!:)
Every time something like this comes up...i wish i had a very good video camera so that i can tape it... but it never works out. You spend like 20mins starring at the sky, your neck starts to hurt and your eyes become watery, then you remember you have a report due the next day, and you've already frozen your ass off while waiting.(if it's winter;)).....then you go back inside depressed.
hope i get to see something this time!!!!!!:D |
