LOL, no, I'm far too old for "sleep loss due to technology intervention" stuff. My wife worked a 2P to 10P shift at a local nursing home, but they had a late admission, so she didn't get to leave until 11...then she got 2/3 of the way home and they called her to tell her she left with med cart keys, so she had to go back. She got in just after midnight, and when I woke up, I just couldn't go back to sleep. So, rather than toss and turn and keep her up, I just got up and knocked out some CPE credits, as October starts my next cycle of required credits.
Or...or...it was the 8 ball of dirty meth I did at 8 PM. I honestly can't remember which event caused the insomnia at this point. To compensate, I am making sure that my coworkers allow me to do any/all of the complex or administrative IT functions today. :D |

I feel so patriotic! Wife and I went to a birthday party and there was a snooker table. Played eight games... won just once :p
Also, I'm really sad it seems I won't be able to root for the Netherlands or against Argentina in the next World Cup. The hell is going on?! |
