For real though, we aren't even discussing our weekends.
My husband got drunk and stayed out late last night for a buddy's birthday. He must have forgot we have a baby to take care, cause he's paying the price today, lulz.
Heading off to be with a crew of friends tomorrow for "Friendsgiving". |

| I'm just piddling this weekend, "recovering" from the first week back at work after a couple off. Coworker starts his first 2 weeks of vacation next week, so I'll be pulling some OT. The "new guy" has been with us a year, but I am not going to stick him working alone the last hour of each day (I work 6A - 3P, and he does 7:30 A - 4P). Usually nothing major comes up that last hour, but just in case, I will "take one for the team" the next couple of weeks. Hopefully over the next year he'll get the requisite experience to handle it by himself, when necessary. But, that's the nature of IT/help desk...you simply can NOT master all of it. At the end of the day, you're going to end up having to call SOMEONE with the necessary skills when the "right" situation arises. It's warmish for November today, but the wind is just hateful. |

Had to skip the soccer match with my son due to family business.
This afternoon I fixed the electricity for the tow-bar at my wife's car which I installed together with my dad. Took like ten times longer then expected, but did save us a few hundred Euro's by DIY.
F1 in Sao Paulo tomorrow evening.
Now sending kids to bed and ready to watch a French movie: Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. |

Yesterday I was told I have a progressive disease of my right eye that means my vision will steadily deteriorate and I could need a corneal transplant.
That's right. Even my health conditions are progressive. |

Minor corneal damage...page me if it spreads to the other eye! -The Royal Tenenbaums
Also, consult Dr. Markus Schulz. |

Sorry to hear man - hoping for the best. Are procedures like that covered over there in the UK? |

| Yeah, although the NHS is in a terrible state at the moment, so the waiting list would probably be lengthy. I'm getting a hospital referral to discuss it properly. Hopefully it won't come to that. I don't fancy getting my eye sliced open. |

| Well, here's hoping for the best. I wouldn't want a surgery such as that either. Laser eye surgery is the most I'll ever want having done to my eyes. |

Fuch's Dystrophy, Jack? My wife works at an optometrist as a tech, that was the first thing that came to her mind. Good luck getting the transplant, a friend of mine recently had her retina detach and had to go into surgery for that and she's come around pretty well in a years time.
Anyway, first coat of paint in the nursery. We are super happy with how the color turned out. Next weekend gonna build the furniture. |
