I nearly got a Novation Launchkey, actually, but it had just 25 keys and my wife thought it would be better to get something more piano like, so I've now got an Alesis V-49.
It's cheap, it's got 4 octaves worth of keys, and enough pads and knobs to leave me wondering what to do with them :p

Get over to the prod forums. I think a couple of peeps have them, and they're pretty great value, especially as they have decent velocity sensitive pads.
