Classic GU 006 tune here:
Hong Kong Trash - Down the River (McBuffalo mix) Beatport; on what appears to be a re-release of the 1998 American CD single version. |

iTunes has tons of stuff that's not available anywhere else. And the sound quality is superior to every other store.
Godazia - The First Wave
Out of Grace - Anglia (Plug N Play remix)
AIDA - Corvana
James Benitez - Star Chaser (Paranoid Jack remix)
Twice as Nice - Overture (original) :eyes:
Ferrer & Sydenham - Sandcastles (Pete Heller mix)
Jan Johnston - Flesh (Tilt remix) |

Slightly more on the prog-psy front, but 12 Moons has put his entire catalogue on Bandcamp in remastered digital format, including a number of tracks that were previously vinyl-only singles. His album Solid State is still one of the best trance long players ever made, in my opinion.

Yes! Ta very much.
Looks like there have been some additions to the Stress Records back catalogue recently (at least looking at the "release dates" they must be new), namely remixes by Way Out West, Mara, John Johnson, Hi-Fi Bugs, and others of Freefall - Skydive including one or two versions that were not released originally (I think). I'm sure all or most of these remixes were originally released on Renaissance and Incentive, and the Hi-Fi Bugs mixes on Phil K's label in Australia.
I was glad to see a digital release of InnerSelf - Alive, primarily for the Starecase remix, although sadly the brilliant Phoney Philosophy mix isn't there. (Thank God for 1997-era full-track CD compilations).
It's also nice to see Blue Amazon's version of Balouga Boys - Everlasting Gobstopper but it can't be the full version that was on the one-sided vinyl back in 1995 ("Gobstopper Soundclash") as I'm sure that was one of those 12-minuters. |

Is Groovaholic - Nepal (Praha Remix) available for digital download in anyone's territory? I can see it on Spotify so it has been digitised, but I can't find any shops selling it to a UK IP address.
The same also applies for Lustral - Broken (Praha Remix). I want to add some more Praha filth to my arsenal, but all these remixes remain tantalisingly out of reach. |

Be aware of some of his older vinyl-only tracks as they might be lossy. He admitted a while back on some episode of his podcast that for the ones where he didn't have the masters anymore he either used vinyl rips or MP3s that he downloaded online. |

Further to this, and more shamefully, it seems this is infact a fan made reconstruction :whip:
Exhibit A - 9 years ago the exact same 7:56 mp3 was added on soundcloud

What they appear to have done is to remove the vinyl noise at the end they have applied a noise reduction too aggressively which if you have done any vinyl ripping you will know such software will detect the top of kicks as a click and remove them.
This is exactly what we hear with this version they are charging people for. |
