Happy Mother's Day to all you TA ladies that have, in the course of time, managed to get knocked up and squeeze one out! :D And, to the fathers, happy Mother's Day to you motherers!

I would just like to say that my husband got sick also, and we're pretty sure we both got it from the baby, who was sick earlier in the week.

Anyway, I'm only saying this because I know my husband didn't believe I was as sick as I was carrying on about on Friday, so I couldn't help but hear Nelson Muntz saying "HA HA!" when he came down with it too, lol.

We're all on the mend now, and off to swim class this morning, woo!

:stongue::stongue:

We both felt like death. Soooo glad we weren't a peak sickness at the same time. Being ill as a parent is a whole new level of adulting.

All I could think on Friday was how grateful I was to have a supportive husband who was able to take the rest of the work day off to come take care of the baby while I was laid up.

Mad respect for parents who do it with little to no support. .

I'm thinking of moving to the States, as this is the best Europe has to offer, and no, the right one, ours, did not win by far at somewhat disappointing 18th place.

Think we had a decent song, Germany and Austria were my favorites, both did well.

What happened to Eurovision this year?! 2017 was so much better... Even the winner, and this comes from someone who hates slow music and could understand full well what the singer was saying :p

Anyway, is there anyone around here into hip hop, other than EarnYourKeep? I've just started watching Atlanta, with Donald Glover, and the stuff is so bizarre but believable, I can't stop watching.

*raises hand*

Hip hop is my first love.

My physical record collection is about 90% East Coast rap from 1995 to 2005 with some Bay Area stuff in the mix. Unfortunately I never acquired many classics physically.. The mp3 destroyed my then growing record collection.

You'd probably get a kick out of it then. It's not a life-changing series or anything, but it's the sort of thing you can easily see happening in a bizarre sort of way.

Oh yeah we started watching the first season when it aired. But, life. Hard to keep up with so many great shows.

years ago I used to watch the EVSC but it got so bizarre, strange and musically poor I had to quit.

I'm still struggling to understand why Israel and Russia are in a Eropean competition but whatever.

The winner was straight up terrible and somehow they let a serial stage invader interrupt the UK entry.
