Conversation on production techniques require people to be asking questions. Nobody makes trance any more, the forum is called tranceaddict, therefore no new blood is coming to visit. |
What are all the kids making these days? Dubstep and Synthwave? |

You probably don't want to know.
It's like a cross between trap, snapchat and bull. |

| I personally enjoy the worst sounds imaginable compressed to the maximum. |

Sau-sage wave forms are best wave forms. |

I was in Las Vegas two weeks ago, and I you not, this was basically the "club music" I heard.
It was as if someone with serious hearing and mental impairment said "I want (my ghostwriter) to find the single most annoying collection of sounds, cobble them together in a vaguely dubstep vengaboys sequence, chop up a pitch bent vocal over the top, then compress it so it sounds like a 3 minute pulse wave of solid dross".
Yet the encore beach club was so rammed with people you couldn't actually see any water in the pool. |

I still like TA but I don't contribute much to the technical threads as I always feel there are others with superior knowledge.
I keep finding tracks withdrawn on the WIP thread. I want to feedback but get there too late. I always get an impending sense of dread putting WIP's up but none the less sort of do it out of habit - much of the time no feedback is given which I read as ' track, fuk off and do better'.
My biggest knowledge gap I think is track structure. I often wonder what people consider to be a great structure these days? |

| Well I think the responses in here have shown there is still some life in here, I'm happy to see that. There just aren't as many questions as there used to be. Need to just come up with some good discussions... like synth cats. :D |

| I'm currently on a production hiatus while learning Javascript and later React for app development, plus I lost my job last week and I need to spend my time finding another job. |

This is what I make these days. Just love poems/rap verses. I don't even have any backing music yet. |
