Checking in :)

Deleted or just stopped most of my social accounts except Instagram a decade plus ago to refocus and travel. I just enjoy being lost and walking through places. I still remember a friend telling me why the did I walk from North Beach, through TL and to the Mission one time in my early SF adventures. Last big walk was a dozen miles through Lima, Peru.

On the those travels abroad, I met someone. Been together for 7 years, married for 3 and now expecting a little rizo :tongue2

Can't believe its been 5 years since Lyndsay left us. I didn't hang out with her as much as I should and miss her. Frank G reached out to me out of the blue and been talking with him. Last I saw anyone from the scene was Adriana, forgot her alias here, when I was visiting my sister in OC. Would bump into Thomas Phan and John Beaver a few times a year, as they were my neighbors down the street until I moved this year.

I see gigs and events all the time. Think about going but then I enjoy my sleep and wife isnt from the scene. Hope everyone is doing well and look forward to bumping into again if we get a chance. Grateful for everyone I've met and helped me along the way :D

Heya Neo,

welp apologies for the incredibly long delay in the reply here. I don't visit TA as often as I used to.

Answer to your question is I have lived in DC all my life until I moved to Seattle in 2014. Unfortunately, we probably never crossed paths. I was part of the underground scene way back in the late 90's. Clubs like Fever in Baltimore and Nation (Buzz) in DC. I was a huge part of Glow way back when it was the small little club tucked behind the MCI Center at the time.

I was removed from the EDM scene for about 14 yrs... it actually took my move out to Seattle to rekindle the flame. I would say the last time I was out at a show in DC would have been 2004 or 2005. If you didn't move to DC until 2007, then most likely we never met.

But you may have crossed paths with a bunch of other DCTAs...or NYTAs.. we had a huge contingent of TA's from Philly, NY, Atlanta, Delaware, New Jersey, etc... all meet up at various events back in the day.

Anyways, apologies again for the delay in response. Hope all is well!

Apparently at his next la show he is the opener. How the mighty have fallen.
On another note fellow TA Kristina Sky is opening for JOOF at Avalon in 2 weeks. Anyone heading out, hopped on the comp entry guest list , maybe John or Kristina can hook up vip stage access.

Man time flies.

Feels like just yesterday I changed the brakes on her car, got her some vodka and gatorade from the store & laughed at all the different Dj Blurr names we came up with. :(

As for me, I returned to school and im finishing my Engineering degree at SDSU. I'm also balls deep with underground renegade events in SoCal and hopefully Vegas durring EDC week. I have over 30k followers combined with SDRenegade/HouseyTechno/TechnoRebelsOnly on instagram. I have like 20 likes on FB lol

Last year I did a free pop up with Ghastly and had like 1500+ people come out (one of my goals), I did Techno acts like Onyvaa/Truncate/Marcel Fengler/Phase Fatale. And I ended the year in LA doing a Techno event inside an abandonded missile bunker in December.

I am working on another LA event soon. Hopefully 2 big free pop ups this year in SD. I like doing big free events, because back in the day when I was broke I had to drive up to LA for dope free big events. None of the big promoters down here in SD never gave back while making a killing off their patreons, I'm glad I can.

I come around but not regularly here anymore - so many crazy other networks I barely have time for between the day job. Still helping the SDTF crew regularly - and had the pleasure of representing at the art car at Dreamstate this year.

I'll be the first to admit, because i don't produce really, I never expected to ever see my name on a lineup for a major brand. It was a superb treat. If you fancy a listen, I played both inspirations and passions, so the mix is definitely from the era of Trance between vinyl and early digital/Beatport days.

Dreamstate Socal 2025 Set

If any of you are around - you'll likely catch me at either Bloom for Dreamstate nights, Spin (because its home), or perhaps a Trancension night if I get up the energy to head down into San Diego proper on a random day.

Congratulations on the gig! Always great to see an old friend still pursuing the passion and craft.
