New one, I'm liking it. Video is pretty wild (those with epilepsy might want to avoid):

What's up with all the hype he gets? Really. Not complaining or anything, just genuinely curious.

Try to think of him as the Burial of the 90's.

Ripping off Kraftwerk and Bauhaus Electronica from Germany was a little formula for success that seemed to work for a while, but it clearly got old. Warp or commonly known as Fart, as is to be expected by the British, were an ensemble of lazy thieves trying extremely hard to put out something that did not sound completely stolen from Germany, and granted, in return they developed some Manchurian factory sound that in all honesty today is as irrelevant as any other Frankie Goes To Hollywood record.

I'm afraid this actually undersells Richard D. James' talent, no matter how awesome Burial is.
For starters, he's completely derangedand talented, and I'm afraid Burial is just the latter. Here's a detailed explanation, but seriously, he's one of the artists that definitely got me into electronic music because of powerful and random stuff like this:
Also, he's so damn fun! I don't think Burial has ever come this close to making me dance AND smile:
So, yeah, he deserves all the hype he gets. And then some more.

Isn't him like the only electronic producer constantly listed in Rolling Stones pools/ranks?
Whatever, him and BoC are the reason why I started to listen to ambient, so I was genuinely happy to see such a return. Nice track, actually :)

Imo, bigger than that, Aphex has ambient works on par with Brian Eno's work.
