Husband was off all week, did lots of fun stuff. Yesterday we went to the zoo, and damn were we all tired after - I slept right through the Friday thread!
Our sweet child turns a year old this weekend, party with our peeps on Sunday. Currently listening to the sounds of her sleeping on the baby monitor. *le sigh* |

Tell me about it. My younger step daughter turned 17 yesterday. She was only 2 when her mom and I got married. It's funny, the thought of having my own, biological children used to send me into damned panic attacks. But I've (mostly) comfortably raised 2 step daughters from 2 different biological fathers over the last 15 years. I guess the panic from the thought of having my own was my fear that I'd pass down my "mental demons" and doom them to a life of having to battle one's own brain, unsuccessfully. In any event, time flies. Can't believe it's been a year either, JP. Hell, I can't believe I'll be 42 this year. |

| You shouldn't worry about things like that zoso, chances are slim of inheriting you know those bad thoughts to pass on from what I read. When I think about having children, its unfortunately a no for me so I know how u feel man. I'm 32 with not that much going with only a g.e.d and couple credits towards associates...I know I still gotta chance to turn things around and day by day I work towards it. |
