Does anybody still actually make trance music?!

As my work became more blurred with making music (presets, video courses etc) I find myself making less and less music. Actually, I rarely make it at all any more unless it's a bloody soundset demo!

I do have the itch to make a banger though, is anybody else out there still making trance?

I usually make trance, but its not in 138 reach for the lazers form.

Tbh, I haven't had time to properly sit down and make a full track for ages. I suppose it would be trance, although as Mac says, it aint 140bpm scranz.

More like prog/trance.

If I did make a track it would be trance, does that count?

I've been meaning to update all my old tracks from my rave days with new VSTi patches. Some of it is progressive trance. Most of it just used the built-in sounds of my XP-50 workstation. I am kinda intrigued how good they will sound using Zebra and RAW patches. I just keep procrastinating. How do I stop procrastinating?

I've been collecting acapellas on youtube with the intention of making a banging remix one day. Some day. When I stop procrastinating!

I recently watched a Tomorrowland MATTN set on YouTube. She makes me wanna go trance. Wow. Is she even trance? But my style is usually drum n bass or hardstyle. I need that endorphin rush. Dua Lipa's set was awesome too but I know that's not trance--she puts me into a trance though.

If I was a regular festival goer I'd be more inclined to make those genres of EDM. But I can't afford that lifestyle. It's either all-in or all-out for me as far as partying goes.

A few of my work-in-progress projects. No music. Just words.

Fapergé: French word for a circle jerk party that I made up after hearing Katie Perry mention she likes the word "Fabergé" & was trying to use it in her song. Fabergé is a wanky French golden egg that is so fragile it falls to pieces when you breath on it.

Women don't rule the world. Who will fix the dams, electrical stations, water pipes, fix the internet, etc when all men go on strike and refuse to simp? Going MGTOW is not enough and won't reverse the divorce-rape power women have by default. By going on strike, we can hold the courts to ransom until fairer laws are introduced.

One time in my life, when I was a confused teenager, I thought I wanted to make trance. But then Armin came around and slowly took over the scene and took a big fat dump on it.
And my dreams were crushed by a big smelly poo. Now my music is (sometimes) inspired by trance. The early good trance. F you armin. F you.

Eh, you guys just gotta ignore the . For me it was Above and Beyond, they used to write good tracks but the stuff they're putting out now is total garbage. But lots of guys still putting out quality, Sean Tyas comes to mind for me.

Well i used to have hot feelings for Tiesto. But now they are cold and lifeless. Just like the crap music he puts out these days.

With today's quality of hardware it can't be difficult to fill in where they left off in production wise, I mean there is only 1 guy that I know using hardware in his tunes with good conversion and thats Steve Helstrip with his Nordlead + JDXA.

On top, his room is fully treated, rocking the Dynaudio LYD 48's

Edit: Also, from trance diary vids from everyone else in the uplifting scene, its KRK and Spire madness, idk why that combo has become so popular.

In the pop music world almost every hit song out there is by a bastard called Max Martin.

There must be some foul play involved, like him finding a pop-hits almanac gifted to him from his future-self.

F U Max Martin. :p

If you are sick of trance right now, try making some voodoo music man!
