Moving on...While I was away I wanted something easier than programming my DX7 and stumbled across Arturia's and boy it rips FM7/8 or dexed outta the water and got serious praise on all synth wave prod groups on facebook.
Very Close to the smaller bit of the DX7, even older architecture can still maintain that character u won't find on todays stuff, the jp8000 is one of them but thats nothing new tho.
on top the GUI is the most simplistic soft synth to use compared to FM7 it even has filter cut off not which ia not suppose to found on fm synthesis and so on adding new possibilities.

All the stuff I listed including the threads about gear and thats upcoming have been targeted towards the norm and def useful and affordable something that wasn't happening before I was here. What have you done? the only post considered outside the norm "to you" was my excellent of 1,700 deal of an mk1 symphony with 18 ins 6 outs nd trolled me for it with palm. I mean both of you make more money than I do yet you still trolled cuz of my passion.
Rann, how come raphie only gets trolled by L4C over his synth collection yet he just does mastering but not by palm and Geoff? :p
Oh thats right Geoff, you helped everyone with your suggestion on your only thread "does anyone still make trance music?' when It is clearly evident the wip thread you can tell who is still making it or not but no you need to increase the clutter on here, way to go.

That does sound really close and nice. Something about the DX7/FM synths makes them really easy to emulate in a VSTi.
I would not be surprised if Arturia made the best emulation yet, despite all their previous emulations sounding like complete ass.
They at least have a long history emulating classics, even if it was limited by tech at the time. Their Jp8 clone comes to mind, sounds awful last I checked.

Geoff said that Arturia makes dire and he was right about that when I asked him, I wish we can talking about useful and nice sounding gear and stop fighting.
However, Arturia nailed it for the DX7, its joy to makes patches, to easy, everyone with a Yamaha montage with insane fm capability over at several production groups say the GUI alone and easy of use is why converted over to Arturia.
You should try the demo Alan.
There also comparison vids with yuck yuck plastic reface but I'm not sure about the digitakt that has over bridge.

I sometimes wonder If UAD made DSP softsynth like en endorsed Moog that uses their chips or. a sampler, it would be a worlds first or complete waste?
All their stuff well excluding 1 or 2 modulations plugins is geared towards rock and roll music top of the line like palm mentioned. I just want the Moog ladder filter which has more option and filter poles then 500 series hardware unit but plugin is going 349 without a coupon :( and uses serious processing power almost a 25% per chip. like going from Apollo duo

Of the 18 threads that are not sticked in the production forum, at 10:30am this morning, you were the last post in 15 of them.
Then a glance at the c0r showed that you has posted in nearly every thread in that page.
In the last 48 hours, you posted over 100 times.
It's completely manic, and then when people tell you to chill out/ you go on the attack.
The c0r, bar a couple of people that I actually respect, is nearly entirely full of rabid cvnts and you need to bear that in mind and not give one single about what they have to say and let is all bounce off. If Kenny trolls you, understand he's pro communist nut job that is butthurt beyond sanity. I could name a dozen other people there that have just as many issues but you get the point.
However, coming in to the PF, DJB, MD etc - the more useful and serious places in TA, and just ing carpet bombing every thread you can comes across as bat stream of consciousness mania, that isn't welcome around here.
If you have something to contribute, then go ahead, post in the WIP, or share your hime studios, even in the cat thread is fine, but don't start pointless ing meta arguments with Geoff or bring up people like Raphie/JJ and M4B/Ritchie who haven't even posted here in over a year.
There's absolutely zero point and it's not doing you any favors. If you have a disagreement with someone, then just state your difference of opinion and move on.
You;re actually allowing yourself to be trolled by endlessly responding and getting wound up.
For instance, yes, it's a tiny bit silly to buy a $1600 audio interface and not have $50 for the cables. Kinda like buying a porsche then not having money for gas (no pun intended).
However, the easy way to brush it off was that it was a great deal (it was - you got a bargain) and then just say I couldn;t let it pass so went all in and will buy cables when I get the cash.
Done. move on. If anyone wants to insult, just say, well I'm happy I got the deal. Move on.
