I am a lover of tiesto, however, i have to say that he's mixing wasn't the best in I.S.O.S 3... there's a few mixes that really take me out from the journey when i'm listening to the cd... Did he had a deadline to mix it or what? because i know he could have done it perfectly, but who knows what happend ????..

yeah, the mix from Chiller Twist - Stringz Ultd to Southern Sun was baaaad... but the rest was alright imo :)

well the mix out of Faith came right before the vocals - maybe a little questionable...and the southern sun one can get talked about.

personally i dont know that SS should have been on that album...i think it was just the cool thing to choose at the time. ive also heard its a bitch to mix to...but whatever. this was the weakest ISOS, but its still ISOS, so its not that bad.

plus going by the rule of trilogies, the 3rd one will always be questionable - there were no Ewoks innit tho! now whens that new magik come out|

Tiesto is generally a bad dj when it comes to mixing... he's been getting bad over the past year or so.. it might have to do with his change in style.. who knows...
DJ Mikey Mike
i actually found the mixing to be quite good. It was the tracklist that let me down :(
zarathustra
I thought the mixing was fine and the playlist was appropriate. Not as good as ISOS 2.
DJ Sunburn
yup ISOS 3 sucked a left nut. ISOS 1 all the way! ISOS 2 was still good as well!

ISOS 3 is just fine, not great.
i am losing confident of T-I-E-S-T-O:whip:

Unlike most compilations out there, the mixing here sounds real. Mixed on turntables as it is supposed to be done. IMO the mixing is creative and effective, making this one of the best trance cds of the year if you ask me.
Excite
i'd rather have loose and less-than-perfect mixing done on turntables than some tight perfectly mixed set done on a computer.

Exactly. For this reason something like Tranceport or Politics of Dancing are boring for me now but i could listen to Magik 1-7 everyday and never get tired of them. :disbelief
Enfuse Dub
I thought the mixing was really good. The Strings Unlimted into Southern Sun stands out a lil because he brought in the tune after the transition played out a lil in Strings Unlimited making the mix so noticeable, if brought out a lil sooner it would have fit more tightly.

Overall ISOS3 is Journey worthy. Tracklisting, mixing and mood are good. I donno if this was mixed on Turntables though...seems computer generated for some reason, or he just used a lot of time on this in getting to know the tracks and programming well.
