Well, nobody shanked Trump one month before the election :p
It's harder for us to do it though. While the US has the electoral college to avoid demagogues (heh), we have run-offs if the winner has less than 50% of the vote. It's a lot harder for us to elect candidates from either extreme. Besides, I have a feeling Ciro or Alckmin can still make it to the run-off with Haddad (it wouldn't be unheard of, given how many undecided voters there are, Bolsonaro's high rejection rates, and our Women's March is happening before the election, not after the damage is done).
