Sounds cheap and the tracks are cut to 5 minutes.

sounds like weekly top 5 pop tracks, actually like any other EDM artists these days. Tey are tired of underground days end of 90ties beginning of 2000x. Now track should be done in 1-2 days and bring more money with performances. Early track were sold on vinyls and cds, so the artist could get some real money. Today all goes in digital ,which sells very poor, so thee is no sence to spend a lot of time for producing.

There is no journey involved and that's where the problem lies. No one wants to write poetic music anymore because music has become so worthless by the newer generation but some of us old folks, we cherish the older trance a lot. Far from the madden crowd is still one of the greatest albums evermade. It leaves a lasting impression and an album straight from the heart. This album is priceless and absolutely precious to me. I just wonder why many artists abandoned this great style? I could never do that. Life is painful but that doesn't mean you change your personality to fit into the crowd better.

but chicane did show his brilliance with this track with Lisa Gerrad but it sounds unfinished as if it's missing a few layers.

I agree with you guys that this album is rubbish indeed! Only tracks that get a small satisfactorily grade are:

Chord Less Yacht
Rainbow
I came Here For You
Fear I Must First Let You Go
