🦉 If you know how to program synths then you do not need this. If you dabble in different styles of music & want to save time this may be useful. One negative is you need an iLock account for activation.

Free download this week at Bedroom ...
Been playing with this, very interesting tool. Some of it is kinda cheesy but with some creativity it has a LOT of potential.
I’m guessing this will make some people here happy. Apparently, no more eLicenser dongle
About bloody time, although I can't help feeling the upgrades listed don't warrant a full v3 upgrade. We'll see what else is revealed, but I can't imagine biting.
🐻 My only Black Friday catch was that Sonarworks kit with mic @ 40% off. I'd rather use this system to correct the room than add acoustic panels all over the walls. In other words, I'm not allowed to.

Anyone check out the UDO Super 6? sounds really nice on youtube anyway

Went on a small frenzy last week :D
- Bought Audient ID4 as I'm rebuilding a small in-the-box studio from scratch.
- Some samples from Ghosthack
- Soundtoys suite.
Still looking for good pointers on proper samples. Hard to find some that I find engaging... Specifically looking for
Hiphop,
Trap,
House,
DnB
Liquid DnB,
Lush pad.
layered Pianos
(putting off the obvious buy of Omnisphere and Keyscape, but maybe I shouldn't bother looking elsewhere)
Hints appreciated :)

Hello, I took some time off to reflect on my wellness so I came back.
Got Fabfilter Pro Q 3 and Pro L -2.
Behringer Pro 1 Rack Synth - Great investment
Will be getting Roland MC 101 Sampler Groovebox.

🤠 Recently picked up D16 Antresol & RC-20 Retro Color. I don't plan on using RC-20 on a whole mix, just instrument parts to make them sound as if they were ripped from vinyl. Also picked up JST Soar for $9 at JRRShop, Hybrid 3 at Plugin Boutique for $4 & scored Reason Lite Rack & Voltage Modular Nucleus 2 for free. Sonible Summer Sale netted me Smart:Comp from Best Service. I'm going to run its spectral ducking thing on every lead/vocal on my tracks.
🐻 Wouldn't mind one of those grooveboxes either. Waiting on a sale. These EOFY sales have been pretty disappointing. I think Roland has a policy of not allowing partner resellers to list products on ebay. What I can't decide on is if I want a Groovebox, TR-8S or Digitakt. I think something like Digitakt would be great as it gives me both drums & sampling mangling. If I had 3K I'd get the Octatrac--thinking real hard if I should access my super early like other people affected by covid are. Not sure if I want to live past 70 anyway!
🦉 I'm thinking of splashing out on a reverb. These are my contenders: Sonsig Rev-A, Seventh Heaven (non-Pro), or Cinematic Rooms. The last two are by LiquiSonics & the first one is Relab. Mostly for trance & classical. Which would you go for?
[Edit: I went for Cinematic Rooms. I may pick up Seventh Heaven on Black Friday]
🐻 Even if you don't need any more sample libraries check out their Mind Control add-on for Kontakt. It allows you to add multiple sample libraries & create rules for how KONTAKT should automatically switch between sample libraries, making sequencing or performing more convenient and intuitive. The switching can be based on simple elements like pitch, velocity, or controller ranges as well as more advanced ones, such as your own latching and non-latching keyswitches. You can even add randomness into the equation!
Current wishlist: Gullfoss, soothe2.
Teezdalien
Some of my recent acquisitions.
Strymon Magneto
Modal Argon8
Arturia Audiofuse 8pre
Got a bunch of the Arturia FX included with the 8pre which are pretty nice and also decided to update the V Collection from V3.
@Storyteller - I use Splice a bit these days for samples as it allows you to be pretty selective about which samples you want. You don't need to fork out for entire packs.

🦉 If you buy this month's issue of Beat magazine you can claim a free copy of D16 Sigmund delay FX & a 50% off code to a future D16 purchase.
🐻 You've probably got enough delay FX but if you are a hoarder like me there is always room for one more.
